Jacobs has been chosen to manage the acquisition of over 100 new remotely operated robots for a nuclear laboratory. The UK’s National Nuclear Laboratory chose Jacobs to manage the project for Windscale Laboratory in West Cumbria. Working with Wälischmiller Engineering, Jacobs’ robotics specialists will be responsible for procuring replacement machines which will handle radioactive material for inspection or processing.
