PUBLIC MEETING
Around 70 concerned folks, attended a public event organised by Nuclear Free Local Authorities, Together Against Sizewell C, Theberton and Eastbridge Action Group, Blackwater Against New Nuclear Group, Suffolk Coastal Friends of the Earth and Stop Hinkley.
The excellent speakers included Linda Pentz Gunter, Beyond Nuclear International, Simon Barns, Environmentalist, Ben McFarland, Head of Conservation, Suffolk Wildlife Trust, Pete Wilkinson TASC & Andy Blowers BANNG.
A beautiful short film of the rare fauna & flora around the SZC site, narrated by Rachel Fulcher, coordinator of Friends of the Earth Suffolk, was enjoyed by all.
