New waste route opens up for Dounreay’s low level waste. Dounreay has successfully trialled a new waste route for incineration of its low-level waste, in conjunction with Nuclear Waste Services. Fourteen 200-litre drums of low-level waste were recently transported to waste treatment company Tradebe for incineration.
