Plans submitted for hydrogen buses in Ipswich to serve Sizewell C workers could lead to largest fleet in Europe. NNB Generation Company (Sizewell C) Limited, a subsidiary created by EDF Energy, has submitted plans to turn the front forecourt in 2-6 Central Avenue Ransomes Industrial Estate, in Ipswich, into a bus depot for up to two years. The depot would introduce four hydrogen-powered buses as part of a pilot scheme to transport workers to the site.
