New members are sought for a group tasked with providing information and discussion on the potential to host an underground nuclear waste facility. The Mid Copeland GDF Community Partnership is looking for new members who live in the electoral wards of Gosforth & Seascale and Beckermet. It has formed to speak to residents about a Geological Disposal Facility, which stores radioactive waste and the potential for it to be sited in Mid Copeland.
