Microsoft has signed a 20-year commitment with the carbon-free energy group Constellation (CEG) to buy all the 800 megawatts of power the recommissioned nuclear plant can produce. Constellation shares surged 22 per cent higher on the news, to value the business at $80 billion (£60 billion).
