MoltexFLEX scientists worked with the University of Manchester’s Nuclear Graphite Research Group to use X-ray micro CT scanners to investigate how molten salt infiltrates pores within standard industrial grades of graphite. The research was conducted at MoltexFLEX’s laboratory in Warrington and at Manchester University, which are both in northwest England.
