Labour’s net zero plans leave the country reliant on China, the energy security secretary has claimed. Claire Coutinho said that Sir Keir Starmer’s plans to convert Britain to “clean power” by 2030 would leave Britain reliant on Chinese materials by going “too fast, too soon”.
