Modular construction is boosting productivity in the construction of Hinkley Point C, with factories in the Bristol area manufacturing “ever larger pieces” of the nuclear station. The new two-unit 3,200MWe nuclear power station in Somerset is being constructed by Bylor, a joint venture of Bouygues Travaux Publics and Laing O’Rourke, for EDF.
