With the dual fuel price cap forecast to reach £1,923 per year for the average home from October 2023, new analysis by the Energy and Climate Intelligence Unit (ECIU) has found homes rated Energy Performance Certificate, a measure of the home’s efficiency, band F are set to have bills £721 higher than a home rated EPC band C, the Government’s target for 2035.
