Energy suppliers should be forced to publish details of every tariff they offer to enable independent scrutiny of whether they are good deals, a consumer campaigner has argued. Martin Lewis, the founder of Money Saving Expert, has written to Ofgem, the energy market regulator, saying that it is near-impossible for consumer advice organisations to provide adequate guidance over the “opaque” deals that suppliers offer customers.
