Dounreay employs more staff now than six years ago, report shows. Dounreay contributes £77.5 million a year to the far north economy and employs 15 per cent more staff than it did six years ago, a new report reveals. The document looks at the social and economic importance of the former nuclear site, which is being decommissioned, to Caithness and north Sutherland.
