Chancellor Jeremy Hunt has stated that supporting low-carbon industries, along with tech and life sciences, will be crucial to ensuring a more innovative and stable UK economy in the long-term and to levelling up. Hunt delivered a speech at Bloomberg’s European headquarters in London this morning (27 January), setting out a ‘Growth Plan’ ahead of his Budget in mid-March.
