The cost to taxpayers of bailing out collapsed energy supplier Bulb could end up being billions of pounds lower than estimated. The amount of taxpayer funding made available to run Bulb was slashed last month by £1.7 billion, documents filed by its administrators Teneo reveal. It fell from £3.9 billion to £2.2 billion.
