Magnox is ready to start a major decommissioning project to clean-up and demolish four ‘blower house’ superstructures that surround Berkeley site’s two reactor buildings. Altrad has bagged a £31m contract for the design, asbestos removal, deplant, demolition and construction works in and around the blower houses.
