The Waveney and suffolk Coastal Momentum group are holding a meet and greet. According to their facebook page it is

"An informal chance to meet up with, and get to know, Momentum members and supporters in Waveney and Suffolk Coastal. Come along for a cuppa, a biscuit, and a chat. If you are interested there will be opportunities to get active in campaigning for Labour in the New Year."

TASC is not affiliated with any particular political party or faction. We are, however, interested in talking to politicians and people who are politically engaged at a national, regional or local level in order to disseminate information and get across our point of view about Sizewell C. At present, both the labour and the conservative party are in favour of new nuclear build, so it is important to try and persuade them to think again.

David Smith is bringing his TESLA car along and will give an informal talk about Electric Cars and batteries. 6.30 pm for a 7.00 pm start.
We will then have our usual TASC Committee meeting at around 8.00 pm, to which all our welcome who support our cause

Planning Application by EDF Energy Nuclear Generation Limited

Sizewell B Relocated Facilities, Sizewell, Suffolk

Ref no: DC/19/1637/FUL

EDF Energy Nuclear Generation Limited has submitted a planning application to East Suffolk Council for the relocation of some of Sizewell B facilities.

The main buildings we are proposing to move during this phase are related to administration, education and training, along with supporting car parking as these buildings are located on land we would like to use for Sizewell C, if we gain planning permission for the proposed new power station.

The Non-Technical Summary of the Environmental Statement summarises all the proposals more briefly and can also be found on the Council’s website, together with all the supporting planning application documentation.  The closing date for comments is 24 May 2019.

It is important to note that if you have any comments on this stage of the proposals these should be directed to East Suffolk Council, Planning Department quoting the planning application reference above.

The TASC AGM will be held on Monday the 18th of November at 7.00pm at Leiston Community Centre. All supporters and members are welcome
